"Dreamer," is a compilation of songs crafted between 2019 and 2021 in Boulder, CO, encapsulating a precious chapter of my life rich with adventure and love that I will never forget. These melodies delve into the profound nuances of our shared experiences, reflecting the intricate tapestry of existence.
As a lifelong daydreamer, I often grappled with the place of dreaming within the framework of my professional life, not always feeling that dreaming was safe in the context of living in such a practical and linear world. Yet, with the passage of time, I have come to recognize the invaluable power of my vivid imagination and the significance of dreaming itself.
Today, I embrace dreaming as a cherished practice, finding myself immersed in the reality I once envisioned, a life rich with creativity and possibility.
"Dreamer" speaks to the visionary spirit within us all. May you always hold your dreams close, nurturing them as transformative catalysts that guide you toward the realization of your highest potential.
Before every story, there was a pulse, a quiet hum that shaped stars, formed the earth, and carried the breath of our ancestors into this moment. Origins is my attempt to listen to that hum, and to echo it back.
These pieces were written across the early chapters of my life, on the road, in stillness, and in motion, shaped by long days of backpacking, hiking, and wandering through some of the most sacred landscapes in North America. In those places, something deeper seemed to speak, through wind, stone, silence, and sky, and this music grew from that listening.
It did not feel created so much as received, like something arriving from beyond me, asking to be heard. I am deeply grateful to have been a vessel for it.
We are made of ancient memory, of those who came before us, of this living earth, of the same cosmic dust that gave birth to galaxies. To honor our origins is to remember that we are not separate, but part of something vast, continuous, and alive.
